The JWX-30 machine has been especially developed for jewelry creation. User feedback on the older model JWX-10 has led to many improvements: larger working area, various wax clamps included, a fan to blow off the chips, a handy panel, an automated systems to accurately set the zero point.
Also a complete CAD solution is included: the JewelStudio software. This is in fact an OEM version of the proven combination of Rhino with the RhinoGold plugin.

SYSTEM OVERVIEW
Many jewelers worldwide have already discovered the advantages of using CAD/CAM technology for their designs: renderings for communication with the client, high quality geometry, easy resizing, automated wax model building. These wax models can be build using either Additive RP (Solidscape) and Subtractive RP (CNC milling).
The JWX series of milling machines for jewelers make it possible for any jeweler to create wax-models in house. A Solidscape machine is too expensive, for such machine an external service provider has to be commissioned to make a wax model. These desktop milling machine specificly meet the needs of jewelers for creating master wax models. Working area, spindle type, rotation axis, overal design: all details will meet the jeweler's expectation.
Special for the JWX-30 is the included CAD software: the Roland JewelStudio software ! This is in fact the same software as the wellknown RhinoGold program.
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
All machining on the JWX-30 is done using one of the clamps that fit the rotation axis: the rotation axis unit cannot be removed fro this machine.
The three axes move over steel bearings and are driven by stepper motors. The spindle motor (100 W, max 30000 rpm) is a professional brushless motor, connected to the spindle by a belt. This separate spindle unit has made it possible to use high quality bearings, for long-life use even with drilling operations. The high rotation speed is ideal when working with small cutters.
The model JWX-30 comes with a series of special wax clamps:
Small square (waxblock 37 x 45 mm), for two-sided machining and for rings
Large square (wax block 57 x 64 mm), for two-sided machining and for rings
Swivel
Tube, for rotation axis machining of rings from wax tube
The control software includes an automated process to set the zero point after changing clamp or cutter. The machine also features a hand-panel for easy operation.
The Jewela is aimed at machining wax models. Creating wax moulds in tooling board is possible too, machining metal is not supported. The machine's small size and attractive design will make it the highlight of any jeweler's shop.
